Introduction
Performance, versatility and value. You can be
sure that the AWS-842 Industrial Workstation lives up to these
standards. The heavy-duty steel case conforms to NEMA 4 or IP65, and the
front panel protects the system against corrosive substances, moisture
and dust. In addition, this workstations ability to withstand shock,
vibration and high temperatures make it excellent for applications
involving harsh industrial environments.You can
enter different types of data with the AWS-842TP's two convenient sealed
membrane keypads: one with 60 data keys and the other with 10 function
keys/10 programmable macro keys. A built-in keyboard interface module
merges both keyboard and keypad signals into a single output signal that
acts like a standard IBM AT keyboard. An external keyboard can be
attached through a connector on the front panel.
All of the workstation's controls are located on the
front of the unit for easy access. A lockable door protects the Power On
LED and HDD indicator LED, as well as the power ON/OFF switch, 5-pin
external keyboard connector, resent switches and one 3.5" floppy disk
drive.
