Introduction
The IPC-614 is a PC/AT compatible computer chassis
designed for industrial applications. Its rugged, all steel case holds a
14-slot, PC-compatible passive backplane. This provides simpler
troubleshooting, easier upgrading and more efficient packaging. The
IPC-614 features shock-absorbers, and a dual-fan cooling system. These
ensure the IPC-614 can withstand shock, vibration, dust and extreme
operating temperatures found in harsh industrial environments.

- Removable disk drive bay that holds up to three
front accessible half-height disk drives and one 3.5" HDD
- Disk drive bay mounted with shock-absorbing rubber
cushion
- Two high-speed cooling fans on front panel, with
field removable air filter to bring clean air into the chassis
- Push-pull air flow design to generate positive air
pressure in the chassis for dust and dirt exclusion
- Rubber-buffered card hold-down clamp to protect
plug-in cards from vibration
- 250-watt power supply (350-watt option is
available)
Dual System Support (Optional)
The IPC-614 can fully support dual subsystems
in one chassis. IPC-614D, the dual-system version of the IPC-614, is
equipped with a 8-6 segmented passive backplane (PCA-6114D). In
addition, there are two individual system control/status panels for each
system, including keyboard connectors, reset switches and LED indicators
for HDDs.
