Simple configuration, easy programming and supported by major DA & C packages - these are just a few reasons to use Advantech's ADAM 4000 modules.
The ADAM-4080D has two 32-bit counter channels and a built-in programmable timer for frequency measurement. The module's 5-digit LED display with remote display function can display the data being sent over the RS-485 line to the host computer. The module can be programmed to show wither channel 0 or channel 1. The ADAM-4080D lets you conveniently monitor counter, frequency or RPM data as you are taking it.
The ADAM-4080D modules include digital high and low alarm function. You can download high and low alarm values (32-bit) into the module from your host computer.
The ADAM-4080D module includes a unique programmable digital filter to reject noise on the input signal. You can specify separate time constants to provide stable output readings.
Easy-to-use menu-driven utility software make configuration and calibration a snap. Its terminal emulation program lets you easily read from and write to ADAM modules. Writing application programs with this software (GENIE 2.0) is simple, you can learn the basics in just a few minutes.
